  I would normally give a 3 star for this but because it's hard to find a decent Taiwanese restaurant in Surrey and also the food is quite consistent here, so 4 star it is.
  
  This is just a typical bubble tea place which is good for lunch (I come here once every two week). The food here is just average. I like the beef noodle soup here; however the stirred fried dishes are quite oily for my taste. I also find the bubble tea drinks here are quite mediocre. One time I ordered a brown sugar milk tea but it turned out to be a normal milk tea with brown sugar flavour (not a typical soft pearls cooked in brown sugar for hours). One bonus point of this place is the service, it is quick and consistent, employees can speak both Chinese and English which is always good.
  
  * Fried Chicken with Curry Sauce: the fried chicken was good, it was soft and flavourful. However the curry sauce was quite bland.
  * Beef Noodle soup: good portion and has very good flavour. Recommend order this item if you are not sure what to order
  * Cabbages with meat sauce: there was not enough meat sauce and the sauce was quite salty. It was just missing something here!?
  * Eggplant with Pork Intestine: it was good and the portion was big for one person. However, as mentioned, it was quite oily and also the side dishes that came with the combo were meh.
  
  Also, note that they only accept cash!

  We had dinner at this restaurant today.  They serve great Taiwanese food and many kinds of bubble tea.  The restaurant is located close to a college, and maybe they are trying to accommodate college students, the prices were very reasonable.  They take only cash though.
  
  We had "Pork and Cabbage in Chilli sauce with rice" ($11),  "Pork intestine & Pork blood in Chilli sauce with rice" ($12.5), "Deep fried tofu" ($8), and "Miso seafood hot pot with rice" ($14.50).  Meals comes as a set.
  
  I'd like to try their other menus next time!

  メニューもバブルティーの種類も豊富で、お味もなかなか。また立ち寄って、別のメニューも試してみたいです。

  Rare to find some decent Taiwanese food in Surrey! Bubble 88 serves Taiwanese classics in set combos with a variety of bubble teas, slush and hot drinks. Very similar to bubble world, but I think they offer better value and larger portions.
  
  There are so many different combos, so we had to try a few things just to get a sense of how their food is. Our waiter was also super friendly and made some recommendations while we ordered.
  
  We started with the mixed intestines and sliced beef, and it was delicious! I've had some great and some really bad intestine, and the ones here are definitely one of my favorites. Super flavourful, doesn't have any smell, and not too fatty.
  We also got the tofu skins, one of my favourite vegetarian dishes. Really soft and flavourful, and pairs great with the rice.
  The stir fried beef with green onion was not my favorite thing, a bit too much onion and not enough beef. However the flavor was really nice and savory.
  We also got the classic beef noodle soup,  and although it didn't taste that authentic and Taiwanese style, it was still delicious and the beef was really tender.
  
  I wished there was more rice because we ended up with a bunch of remaining food, but it's always good to have leftovers for lunch the next day! They also give those 旺旺 rice crackers with every set which was super cute and nostalgic for me!

  The best thing about bubble 88 is the price. They have good portions and the food was quite tasty. However, the customer service for this place is absolutely horrendous. Slow service and the waiter we had was very rude. It is also cash only, so please take note of that.

  Good Taiwanese beef noodles restaurant that is just a block away from SFU Surrey campus and the Surrey Central Skytrain Station. I have been there a few times and tried several of their dishes, including beef noodles, deep fried chicken thigh noodles, and various rice dishes. They were all delicious with generous portions.
  
  However, the place do need some up keep. The front door of the restaurant is usually stuck and needs substantial force to open it.  It was quite amusing to watch people struggling to open it, and a few thinking that the restaurant was closed.  Also, I hope they would accept debit/credit cards as they are cash only right now.
